2024 Annual Report for Cotton Trust Protocol

Concept annual report work for Cotton Trust Protocol, a voluntary sustainability program and traceability platform for U.S. cotton. This year, we had focused on balancing the soft, ethereal feel of cotton with the bold typography and color palette of the brand.

For the softer aspects, I chose monochromatic imagery with tints of the brand colors and introduced a unique annual report typeface that matched the delicacy that I wanted to portray.

Tuning into the bold side of the report, I used the branded color palette to color block sections of information, making the long-form of the report more digestible for the reader. Each chapter was color-coordinated for easy flow. I also played with the scale of type to create contrast and dynamic layouts that felt editorial.

Careful consideration was given to the pacing of the report; monochrome images are followed by full-color photography to keep the reader interested.

In the end, we created a microsite for the annual report using Canva, which allowed for subtle animations to tell the story.
