Social media campaign for ending solitary confinement

In my work for the Center for Constitutional Rights (CCR), I was asked by the advocacy team to create some visuals for their social media outlets that could raise awareness for a class-action lawsuit to end solitary confinement in California prisons.

Using typography and some visual elements from CCR’s brand guidelines, I was able to creatively reinterpret those visuals for an impactful effect. For example, some simple brush-stroke lines from the brand guidelines became prison bars or chalk lines marking the passing of time. The result is a quick read–important for fast-pace social media platforms.

Shapes from the branding guide. I used them creatively in the campaign to build a story.
