Black History Month 2021 Campaign
To celebrate Black History Month in 2021, the Center for Constitutional Rights wanted a visual campaign encompassing social media, website visuals, email graphics, and presentation imagery.
The challenge here was designing a system that was adaptable enough to account for numerous, lengthy titles that would name individual programming under the umbrella of Black History Month. Keeping this in mind, I styled the text to be responsive and the illustrative faces to be flexible for any given deliverable. Using typefaces and color palettes consistent with the brand guidelines, I worked to create a design system that celebrated Black strength and culture in an appropriate, serious tone. Careful consideration was taken for the visuals and they were presented to a diverse team for feedback before approval.
