2021 Annual report design for the Center for Constitutional Rights

Here are a few sample pages of a 52-page annual report that I designed for the Center for Constitutional Rights. Using colors, typefaces, and branded shapes from the organization’s brand guidelines, I worked to create a design system that allowed for various amounts of text and imagery. Some chapters had ample text and imagery while others had very little. The key for me was to ensure there was a flexible system in place that allowed for spaciousness. Given that the color palette and typefaces of the Center for Constitutional Rights are quite heavy, I wanted to maintain a level of white space to contrast with that.

The end product is professional but still approachable, legible, and expressive–important qualities for a non-profit fighting systemic issues against human rights.

Two versions were produced, one in print and one that was digital–which enabled clickable links throughout the pdf, seen here.
