Philadelphia Inquirer Rate Book Update
I was given the responsibility to redesign the 2011 advertising rates and specs booklet. In the redesign for 2014, I wanted to convey the ability of the newspaper to create fresh, current approaches to advertising.
The biggest challenge of the project was how to organize the information better. I wanted to think of the new booklet almost like a website user experience, where the user needs to maintain where he/she is on the page at all times, as indicated by navigation and color-coordination systems.
In advertising where time equally money, the less time the client spends over misleading charts or confusing infographics, the better.
