Global Law Firm's New Year's Card
Concepts for an international law firm's annual New Year's card. With a new branding system in place, I worked with the company's revised color palette, drawing mainly on the dominant green.
Since the company has 16 offices across the globe, translating "Happy New Year" would have muddled the composition with various translations. Here, a visual solution represents a universal language. I worked with the preexisting typographical logo and incorporated the imagery into the type. The result is an immediate understanding of something celebratory happening, regardless of language barriers. Two concept options are presented here.
